The Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce is the principal leader of and the catalyst for plans, strategies, programs and services that

Advance the general welfare, quality of life and prosperity of the Riverview are.
Promote the economic, civic, commercial, industrial and education interest of the Riverview area; and
Preserve and enhance the natural character of Riverview.

Welcome to the Great Riverview Chamber of Commerce.

The Chamber's purpose is to serve to create a family environment that ensures the success of our community, our businesses and our members.

Our vision statement is:

The Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce will be recognized as the leader of a community that is an incredible place to live, work, and play, building a sense of belonging and creating an environment for success.

If you look at a newspaper--a newspaper from the 1980’s--you will see the same headlines that you see today:

Recession
Inflation
Unemployment
High gas prices
Falling stock market

We just have different technology. It’s just a different storm!

A wise supervisor once told me that during a storm there are two kinds of trees:

The OAK tree that stands tall and strong. During the storm, the OAK branches get broken and the tree is pulled up by the roots.

Then you have the PALM tree. When the storm comes through, you may loose a few leaves, but the palm sways from side to side and when the storm is over the palm tree stands back up straight and tall.

If you look at our plaque, you will see that our chamber is a PALM tree.

With hard work, everyone working together as a team, and trust, we will have a tremendous year.

As your business is your passion, the Chamber’s passion is our community, its members, the businesses and families of Riverview.

I want to thank the Chamber Staff and every one of you for your support this year in advance.
