Hillsborough County and the City of Tampa have received funding to assist residents that have been impacted by the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic and are unable to pay rent and utilities due to the impact. The funding aims to prevent recipients from experiencing further financial hardship or additional consequences to living conditions by providing approved households up to $7,500 of past-due rent and up to $750 of past-due TECO utilities per eligible household.
Landlords play an essential role in the Emergency Rental Assistance Program and are encouraged to actively participate to be eligible for funding on behalf of their approved tenants.
Register for the virtual landlord information session to learn more about the program and what is required for landlords to participate.
