On behalf of the U.S. Attorney General, the U.S. Department of Justice is pleased to invite you to the Keeping Seniors Safe summit on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in Sun City Center, Florida.
For too long and far too frequently, fraudsters have preyed upon our senior citizens, robbing them of their hard-earned savings. Sometimes, those trusted to care for the elderly instead physically abuse and neglect them. Prosecuting and preventing these crimes against seniors is one of the Department of Justice's top priorities. Learn from Attorney General Barr how the Department of Justice is helping to Keep Seniors Safe from Elder Fraud and Abuse. He will be joined by Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody, a strong ally in the fight to protect America’s seniors. The summit will bring together Florida's community of law enforcement, health professionals, banks, retailers, and senior citizen advocates to discuss this important issue and to learn about resources to help combat elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
To attend, please complete the registration online no later than 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25. An email confirming your registration will be sent to you.
