The United Methodist Church of Sun City Center, 1210 Del Webb Blvd. West, welcomes back Kenny Evans, one of Pigeon Forge’s most popular entertainers, to its campus for a live, 7:00pm VIRTUAL concert Friday, February 19, 2021. Log on to the church’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/umcscc/.
Kenny Evans has sung all his life. He toured the southeast U.S. as a youngster with his family quartet. As a young man, by then a country performer, he opened for some of country music’s biggest stars, including Charlie Daniels, Lonestar, Kenny Chesney, Sara Evans, Toby Keith and others. He signed a big Nashville record deal in 1998 and released his debut album, When You Love Somebody. As his star was rising, an accident involving a drunk driver nearly took the life of his entire band. It took Kenny months to recover, and as he did, he left the Nashville country music scene to serve the Lord as a student pastor, music minister and associate pastor. For the last 15 years, he has been entertaining crowds at theaters in Pigeon Forge, TN, and has travelled the nation as a singer, speaker and evangelist. He will be performing a show consisting of Oldies Rock & Roll, Classic Country and Gospel tunes. He is a charismatic performer with a major league voice that has incredible range.
This is a free, virtual concert.
