  • It is an honor and a tribute to the individual as a community leader to serve as a Board Member. The Board is composed of a cross-section of business and community representatives. Every effort is made to maintain a balanced representation of the community. Board Members are responsible for building the Chamber's efforts to advance the entire community.
    Ambassadors are highly visible, prestigious volunteers who serve as the Chamber's primary liaison to Chamber members. Considered the goodwill arm of the Chamber, the Ambassador Team plays an essential role in member recruitment, communication and retention, and each Ambassador is charged with conveying member needs, questions and concerns to Chamber staff, keeping our Chamber in line with our members desires. Each Ambassador makes a commitment to build lasting relationships with the community in order to build a loyal, committed membership base that will continue to support, participate and invest in the Chamber.

    South Shore Young Professionals Association (known among its members as SSYPA pronounced SIP-PAH) is a personal and professional development organization, designed for young professionals in the South Hillsborough County area between the ages of 18-45. Our Mission is to be an organization that helps and encourages young professionals through personal and professional development as their contribute to the South Hillsborough County area. SSYPA hosts an educational networking lunch the 1st Wednesday of every month at Italian Kitchen & Cafe located at 6915 US Hwy 301 S Riverview, Florida 33569. Networking lunches include a freshly made lunch from a choice of Italian dishes with a drink, the opportunity to mingle with other young professionals in the area and promote your business, and a short presentation about a topic of interest to young professionals by a member of the professional community. SSYPA also hosts occasional after hours and socials as well as other events with local chambers, professional organizations and charities.     Taking Care of Business (TCOB) is a relationship building group that meets each Thursday at The Alley at South Shore 7:30am to 9:00am. There is an additional $60 annual fee for TCOB membership plus $2 (cash) at the door. Visitors welcomed to attend twice (2).
