At Mosquito Shield of South Tampa, Florida, we aim to help our fellow community members maximize their enjoyment of the summer months by providing the opportunity for families to utilize their outdoor and yard space more. Our goal is to provide the best mosquito control services with the highest levels of customer service, allowing our customers to enjoy your homes and time with family to the fullest.

Owner Kevin Vinnett was born in Chicago and raised in Arkansas. Kevin joined the United States Air Force and proudly served his country for 22 years. He is happily married and has 3 daughters. He loves the cultural richness of the South Tampa area; providing diverse traditions, food, and endless summertime feel. Some fun facts about Ybor City; it was “once the cigar making capital of the world” and where “Cuban sandwiches were first invented.”

As a South Tampa resident, Kevin’s favorite local restaurant is The Columbia Restaurant in Ybor City. This local restaurant is one of the oldest restaurants in the area, established in 1905. He also frequents Anna Maria Island, Manatee County, FL. Anna Maria Island is perfect for families — he loves the stretch of white sand, relaxed ambiance, and clear blue waters.

Kevin and his family are very excited to serve this beautiful Florida community and have a positive impact on the lives of fellow residents through professional mosquito control and tick prevention services.
