    About Us

Thunder Bay Volleyball Academy is driven to celebrate and develop volleyball in the area with high-quality physical training and competition for youth at all skill levels, treated with dignity and respect, to reach the peak of their abilities. Our next-level development program aims to ensure children from all walks of life embrace and master the principles and critical-thinking skills they need to become successful team players, leaders and responsible citizens, poised to make positive contributions both on the court and in the community at large.

The #ThunderBayWay is to meet the needs of all players and their families, to give back to the community we call home and to exhibit good sportsmanship at all times. Thunder Bay coaches are SafeSport certified with USA Volleyball.

Our driving mission is to provide year-round programming for ''All Players, All Ages, All Abilities.'' On Saturdays we offer Thunder Sprouts (boys and girls, ages 6-8) and Thunder Bay Junior Club (ages 9-15). Thunder Bay Circuit is the bridge between Junior Club and Thunder Bay Girls Club, our signature program, now in its ninth season of training and competitive tournament play. We offer summer camps and boot camps, private and group lessons, Thunder Bay Boys, Thunder Bay Beach and Thunder Bay Mini-Club for girls club preparation.

Our Next-Level program helps players secure scholarships and prepare for college-level play and through Thunder Bay Extension we work with schools and youth organizations to help build their volleyball initiatives.
