Hold Dirt Moving Ceremony for New Library
Friends of the Riverview Library gathered on Monday, April 29th to celebrate the beginning of Dirt Moving (construction) of the new Library!! The new Riverview library will be built on Balm Riverview Road across from YMCA Camp Cristina and is slated to be completed in 2020. The need for the current library service in the area has outgrown the library’s building and its land. To see more information on the replacement library, visit https://www.hcplc.org/locations/riverview-replacement.
Friends of the Riverview Library support the library by generating funds for programs and classes. If you would like to help their mission, you can do so by becoming a member for an annual amount of $10 for individuals, family membership for $25, Business Patron for $50 or a Benefactor for $100. To find out more about memberships with the Friends of the Riverview Library, contact 813-273-3652 or stop by the Riverview Library to pick up an envelope. You can also find them on Facebook at Friends of the Riverview Library.  For a calendar of events and more information on the Riverview Library, check out their website at www.hcplc.org/.
