On Wednesday, June 21, 2023, the Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce celebrated the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with valued new member, Uptown Cheapskate, at their new location in Brandon!  Owner, Amber Watt, along with her family and staff welcomed guests and gave a tour of the very impressive store. Those in attendance were able to browse through their carefully curated collection and saw customers upcycling their clothes for either a cash payout or trade in for clothes in store.  A light lunch and refreshments were also offered to those who came out for the exciting celebration.

At the Ribbon Cutting celebration, there was a Proclamation delivered by GRCC Ambassador, Paulette Merchant, Realtor, Keller Williams South Shore.  She recognized June 21, 2023, to be Uptown Cheapskate Day, and asked attendees to duly note this occasion and remember for your favorite styles and great value, “At Uptown Cheapskate, EVERYTHING IS UPtown!”
