Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce Hosts
Rediscover, Innovate, Celebrate Munch & Mingle
On Tuesday, November 10th, Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce (GRCC) hosted a Rediscover, Innovate, Celebrate Munch & Mingle at The Barn at Winthrop Town Centre. At this small gathering, masks were required and social distancing was recommended. Hand sanitizer was available to all guests and tables were spread 6 feet apart with 4 people at each table. This Munch & Mingle event was sponsored by of Brandon and catered by CALI-Brandon.
During this event, Pastor Susan Hill from the Presbyterian Church of Bloomingdale spoke to attendees about gratitude. She motivated attendees to be grateful for good health, happiness, and family & friends this holiday season. Although the holidays may look a bit different & a lot of shopping may be online, Americans will have a different outlook on what they are grateful for this holiday season after a year like 2020. All in all, Pastor Susan Hill inspired attendees to give back, give gratitude and be grateful for what you have this holiday season.
GRCC President Mike Jones, Florida DOE Vocational Rehabilitation took the stage to inform attendees that the 2021 GRCC Annual Dinner will be taking place on Friday, January 15th at at Delaney Creek, a brand-new beautiful outdoor venue. This year’s theme is football/tailgate and it will be held from 5:30-9:00 PM with fun games, decorated tables, and the announcement of various award winners. President Mike Jones encouraged all to attend or consider sponsorship for this annual event.
GRCC Event Coordinator, Gabby Morford closed out the meeting by thanking everyone for attending, encouraging guests to attend the upcoming GRCC events and wishing everyone a Happy Holidays. The next Munch & Mingle date in 2021 is to be determined.
