Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Dancing for Joy
 
On February 18, 2023, the Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce joined with valued Investor, Dancing for Joy, to celebrate the grand opening of their second location in South Riverview.  The original studio is located at 10841 Bloomingdale Ave., Riverview, and the new studio is at 11331 US HWY 301, just north of Symmes Road on the west side of 301.  Their festivities began with a showcase of dances provided by many of their competition dancers, including one very special duet created to honor military families. April Curcio and the dance instructors were on hand to welcome and engage with visitors throughout the day, sharing Dancing for Joy’s many offerings, from toddler’s combo classes to adult ballet and jazz, and everything else in between. They were very excited to showcase their new studio to the many guests.

Dancing for Joy is a dance studio with teachers dedicated to their students, providing an atmosphere of encouragement to help them become the best dancers they can be. Genres offered include ballet, lyrical, tap, jazz, musical theater, hip hop, acro/trapeze, pre-pointe and pointe, praise and worship, 3-4 combo, adult barre fusion, and adult ballet.

At the Ribbon Cutting celebration, there was a Proclamation delivered by GRCC Ambassador, Melissa Canfield of Grease Monkey.  She recognized February 18, 2023, to be Dancing for Joy Day, and asked attendees to duly note and remember that at Dancing for Joy, you will “Ignite Your Light through Dance!”
