Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce Celebrates
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for ECHO Thrift Store

The Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce joined with valued member, ECHO (Emergency Care Help Organization), in celebrating a multi-chamber Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in honor of the Grand Opening of their new ECHO Thrift Store on April 27, 2003!  At the celebration, ECHO accepted donations and invited all guests to stay for shopping with sales and discounts at their new store. Delicious refreshments were served, and raffle prizes were given away to many of the attendees in the large crowd who were present.

ECHO (Emergency Care Help Organization) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to assist residents of Hillsborough County in crisis with emergency food and clothing, offering life stabilizing programs and resources, including employment services, financial counseling, and advocacy care. The ECHO Food Pantry, along with the ECHO Clothing closet, was created to assist neighbors who have suffered a recent emergency and need help with food and clothing, as well as neighbors who have undergone a recent loss of a job, or reduced income due to health issues, house fire, require help for emergency foster children, or other hardships are encouraged to visit us.

At the Ribbon Cutting celebration, there was a Proclamation delivered by GRCC Ambassador, Chris Cioffi of All American Title Insurance.  He recognized April 27, 2023, to be ECHO Thrift Store Day, and asked attendees to duly note this occasion and remember that “ECHO is bridging the gap between crisis and stability!”
