Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce Celebrates
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Let There Be Rock School
On April 29th, 2023, the Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce joined with brand new member, Let There Be Rock School, in celebrating their brand new facility in Riverview! At the celebration, guests were treated to tours of the music studio, which included multiple rooms for lessons and practice, two performance stages, and a game room. A youth band, Black Locus, performed for the crowd, who enjoyed refreshments in the festive setting.
Let There Be Rock School is a combination music lesson facility and after-school rock and roll community center, where students from 4 years of age to adults can take lessons for many instruments, voice, and audio production. Students have the opportunity to join a band and perform live at a real rock and roll venue. Let There Be Rock offers flexible schedules, including after school times and weekends. Let There Be Rock is located on Balm Riverview Road, just north of McMullen Loop.
At the Ribbon Cutting celebration, there was a Proclamation delivered by GRCC Ambassador, Melissa Canfield of Grease Monkey. She recognized April 29, 2023, to be Let There Be Rock School Day, and asked attendees to duly note this occasion and remember that at Let There Be Rock School “You will learn to ROCK with the best of them at this NOT YOUR AVERAGE music school!”
