Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce Celebrates
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Grand Opening for Angel Foundation FL’s Angel Gift Shop at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital
The Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce joined with valued and long-time Investor, Angel Foundation FL, on Friday, September 23rd, for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony celebrating the Grand Opening of their Angel Gift Shop at the HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. Special guests, Tripp Owings, CEO of HCA, and Gary Searls, CFO of HCA, both gave a short address to the attendees and refreshments were enjoyed by all.
The Mission of the Angel Foundation is “to partner with businesses and individuals to be a caring resource for families in the community experiencing temporary crisis due to a life-threatening illness or catastrophic event through a one-of-a-kind Foundation Angel Program.” The program matches families with local businesses and individuals who offer resources to help meet the practical needs of the families by providing financial support. In addition, the Angel Foundation FL works with charitable organizations in Hillsborough County that provide a variety of resources to meet the needs of the community.
At the Ribbon Cutting Celebration, there was a Proclamation delivered by GRCC Past Chair of the Board, Mike Jones, of Florida DOE Vocational Rehabilitation. He recognized September 23rd, 2022, to be Angel Foundation FL Angel Gift Shop Day and asked attendees to duly note and remember that Angel Foundation FL is where “Angel Hearts lift up families in crisis!” To learn more about Angel Foundation FL, visit their website at www.angelfoundationfl.com or call (813) 689-6889.
