High School Small Engine Repair Teacher (Power Equipment Technology) instructs students in all entry level skills needed in the outdoor power equipment and other small engine mechanical industries. Students are instructed using hands-on training combined with laboratory and classroom experiences to give the students a full understanding of transfer systems and engine controls; lubrication; electrical systems; cooling and exhaust systems; starting and ignition systems; and basic two-stroke and four-stroke engines.
Minimum Requirements: 7 years previous full-time working experience in small engine repair or automotive repair and Gas Engine Repair or ASE Certification.
